Tears or leaks in bathroom exhaust ductwork is a common issue that often goes unnoticed. We must be careful when moving ducts around roofing nails or we can create these tears.


Why is this important?


A bathroom exhaust fan removes moisture and humidity, preventing mold growth and maintaining good indoor air quality. If the ductwork has tears or leaks, this moist air can escape into the attic or other areas of the home instead of being vented outside.
