When was the last time you tested your GFCI outlet? During your last home inspection?

GFCI outlets should be tested monthly because they are electronic devices that can wear out over time, potentially losing their ability to protect against electrical shock, even if the outlet appears to be functioning normally; regular testing ensures they are working properly and can provide the necessary safety in case of a ground fault situation.
