Loose toilet?

Potential causes of a loose toilet:

Loose mounting bolts:

The most common reason, where the bolts connecting the toilet to the floor flange are not tightened enough.

Damaged floor flange:

If the flange itself is broken or not properly secured to the floor, it can contribute to a loose toilet.

Uneven floor:

An uneven floor surface can cause the toilet to rock even if the bolts are tight.

Worn out wax ring:

The wax seal under the toilet can deteriorate over time, causing instability and potential leaks.
