​During a recent new construction inspection right here in Northwest Arkansas, I pulled the dead front off the electrical subpanel and noticed something alarming: a wire was literally melting.


​Upon closer investigation, the culprit wasn't a power surge—the lug was never fully tightened. This loose connection created high resistance, leading to extreme heat buildup. If this hadn’t been caught, it was a major house fire waiting to happen. 🔥❌


​This is exactly why you never skip a home inspection on a new build. Builders are moving fast, mistakes happen, and what you can't see can hurt you.
