New construction doesn't mean "perfect" construction. đźš©

I’m out in Farmington today for a new construction closing inspection and found a major red flag. Take a look at this roof-to-wall transition. The flashing was improperly installed, leaving the wood roof decking completely exposed to the elements.

Over time, rainwater hitting this transition will run straight into that gap, leading to:

❌ Rotting roof decking.

❌ Potential mold growth in the attic.

❌ Costly repairs that should have been done right the first time.

Don’t skip the inspection just because the home is brand new. My job is to find what the builders missed before you sign on the dotted line.

📍 Serving Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers, and all of NWA.

Right vent, wrong install. ❌

Too low for good airflow and poorly sealed on the sides. That’s a recipe for a hot attic and water damage. Details matter! 🔎 Healthy Home and Mold Inspections on Google https://posts.gle/P3JrJ8RPphvJ

🚨 Red Flag Alert! See this grey piping?

It’s Polybutylene. Common in the 80s/90s, but known for sudden leaks and bursts. Buying a home? Make sure your inspector checks the plumbing! 🛠️🏠 Healthy Home and Mold Inspections on Google https://
