Did you know a home fire sprinkler's height is crucial for its effectiveness? Most residential sprinkler heads are installed 1 to 12 inches below the ceiling. This allows them to activate quickly when they sense heat and create an unobstructed spray pattern. Always maintain at least 18 inches of clearance below sprinklers to ensure nothing blocks the water.
